Skincare Update

So how's this for a tragedy? I finally find the time to tell you all about the fabulous Sensaria products I've been using since January and then they go and do this to me!

What a shock after 10 years of business.
I'm sad and disappointed to say the least.
I was going to do a give away of some of their stuff,
but since it's now off the market,
the products are like gold and I am hording every bit of it!
I bought as much as I could in the going out of business sale because I really liked their stuff.
I am hoping someone sees this as an investment opportunity
so that someday soon I can get the same products,
maybe just under a new label.
I'll let you know if that ever happens.

The Fair

While Grandma was in town, we took Walt to the fair
so he could see the live versions of all the animals he
knows by name and can make the noises for.
He liked looking at the animals -
but was nervous when they got too close!
It took some convincing, but I got him to pet this bunny.
Then we went through all of the barns and pens
until Daddy and Walter got hungry.

They paid a visit to this stand -
in order to get a food fair staple - cheese curds!
Then we headed off to watch a pirate diving show.
We thought Walt would get a kick
out of watching them jump from so high up.
So Daddy, Grandma and Walt found seats in the stands,
while I stood on the side with Ruby and her stroller.
The show began with a lot of "walking the plank" jokes,
but one little guy didn't find all of that falling off a boat so funny!
Needless to say, we had to leave the show -
but between the animals
and this fresh squeezed lemonade Walter loved,
our visit to the fair was still a success.
I have no doubt we'll be back next year!

Look Who Came to Visit -

Grandma Tami!
She got to meet little Ruby

and play with her and Walt,
who of course hammed it up for her during the entire visit.
But her trip went fast and before we knew it,
we were dropping her back off at the airport.
Hopefully next time we see Grandma Tami,
we are visiting her down in Arizona!

News on the Ruby front

The 4th of July may have worn Ruby out -

But she's been plenty busy since then -
turning 3  months old,
 hanging with her brother,
learning to hold her head up,
 and smiling like crazy!
She's also started rolling over from both her back to front
and front to back, however I have yet to capture that on film.
 I'll keep you posted!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Here's a beautiful red, white, and blue snack
that's perfect for 4th of July parties.
 All you need is strawberries,
vanilla flavored almond bark, and blue sprinkles.
Wash the strawberries, melt the almond bark
and pour the sprinkles into a small bowl.
Make sure the strawberries are dry,
before dipping them into the melted almond bark
and the sprinkles.
Then take the finished product -
and line them up on waxed paper to set and cool.
After they have cooled, pack them up in a container
and refrigerate them until party time.
You may also want to get someone to taste-test them
before serving to make sure they're a good.
Another snack that is Walter approved!
So give these pretty little things a try this 4th -

They are so easy and festive!
