Creamy Tortellini & Italian Sausage Tomato Soup

I pinned a new soup recipe
that we adapted and tried out the other night.
Here are the ingredients to
Creamy Tortellini & Italian Sausage Tomato Soup -
Cook your Italian sausage in a frying pan,
while you saute the garlic in a big pot with some olive oil.
Then add in 2 cans of tomato soup,
a carton of half & half,
 some tomato paste,
and chicken stock.
Season with Onion Powder, Italian Seasoning & salt,
before bringing your soup to a simmer,
while your sausage finishes cooking.
Next, toss in your cooked sausage
and then your tortellinis and cook according to the package directions.
When it's ready,
just top with Parmesan cheese,
and serve with some fresh, crusty bread!
This was definitely a hit,
and will taste delicious later this year
on a cold winter day.

Creamy Tortellini & Italian Sausage Soup
1 lb Italian sausage
2  cloves of Garlic, minced
2  Tbls Olive Oil
2 10¾ oz cans of Tomato Soup

Fresh Eyes

Hey! I know it's been awhile,
but I'm still here.
I've even got some new recipes and house projects to share.
But for today,
it's just fun pics after playing around with my kids and my camera.
I love this shot of Adam and the kids,
as well as this one of myself and my babies.
Adam kept snapping away as that sweet scene above -
quickly deteriorated into fits of giggles,
tickle fights,
and a pig pile on momma!
I love playing with these two little sweeties,
and these photos just might be the last pictures
of me in glasses you'll ever see!
I'm very excited to be having LASIK surgery today!
I've had glasses since I was in fourth grade,
so I'm very much looking forward to the freedom of waking up
and being able to see without glasses or contacts.
I'm a little nervous, but sure everything will go great!
