Elijah Meets Kaitlyn

Today before I headed back to Long Prairie, Kari brought Elijah over to visit. Kaitlyn loved him right away and couldn't stop pointing and smiling at him.

I keep telling Brooke that Kaitlyn needs a new sibling, but I think I'm losing that battle!

Out for a Walk

Today I went to visit my sister Brooke and her lovely children. We busted out our shades and headed out for a walk.

This is Kaitlyn. I can't believe how big she's getting and I love hearing her new words and seeing her new tricks. We walked over to get me some Caribou Coffee and Jaccob & Lexi got a treat. Then we dashed home trying to avoid the rain.

Adam's schedule is so busy during the week that we don't get out much until weekends.

This is me not understanding why I always hit it into the water.

Adam never has this problem.

Whispering Willows

Today Marilyn took Grandma Hillman and I to lunch at Whispering Willows. Whispering Willows is a cute little shop right on Main Street in Long Prairie. You can buy nice things for your house, have a sandwich or salad for lunch and get a latte all under one roof!

Alex Crew

Tonight I finally got to meet some of Adam's new friends from Alex Tech. We met up at The Depot in Alexandria for dinner and darts.

This is Ashley and Courtney. Ashley went to UND and Courtney is from NDSU. I've heard plenty of stories about these two ladies already, so it was nice to finally meet them. Poor Ashley not only had to go through First Responder with Adam in Grand Forks, but now has to suffer through a summer of his pranks in Alex.

This is Adam and Shelly on the right. She is so famous in these parts that her name was on the bathroom towel dispenser!

Adam takes his darts a little more seriously than Ashley. Even though he kicked her butt, they were still friends in the end : ) I'm already looking forward to the next time we can all hang out!
