Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

I've got a versatile recipe here.
When you need a quick dessert and
are tempted to just reach for a box mix,
give this a try instead.

Plus, depending on which chips you decide to melt,
you can either make blondies or brownies!

I've made the blondies before,
so this time I went for brownies.

Just grab a cup of chocolate chips and a stick of butter.
Melt the butter completely in a saucepan
and remove from heat,
before stirring in the chocolate chips (if you're also going brownie).
If you want blondies, stir in butterscotch chips instead.

Then grab vanilla, eggs and brown sugar -
and mix them together in a large bowl.
Then add in your melted chocolate and butter mixture,

and mix until smooth before adding salt, baking soda and flour.
Once your batter is well combined,
stir in the final ingredients,
butterscotch chips and mini marshmallows.
and give everything a final stir,
before spreading it out in a greased 9 by 13 inch pan.
Bake for about 25 minutes and then allow to cool before serving.

Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 c. mini marshmallows
1 c. butterscotch chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt butter completely, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until well mixed. In a large mixing bowl blend eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and the melted chocolate mixture with an electric mixer. Once blended, stir in the butterscotch chips and mini-marshmallows. Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake for approximately 25 minutes and let cool before cutting.
